Can OnlyFans be paid with PayPal?

Creators and subscribers alike have asked for PayPal support for years, but the platform has stuck with its original payment model. As things stand, you cannot use a PayPal balance to subscribe to a creator.
Why PayPal is not supported
There is no single official explanation, but a few reasons are commonly understood:
- Payment processor restrictions. PayPal has historically been cautious about adult content, and its policies have made it impractical for platforms like OnlyFans.
- Existing payment agreements. OnlyFans built its payment stack around card networks from the start and has not changed course.
What payment methods work instead
To subscribe to an OnlyFans creator, you need a card or an account that can fund one:
- Visa and Mastercard — the standard, most widely accepted options
- Prepaid cards — prepaid Visa/Mastercard cards work as long as they are enabled for online and recurring purchases
- Some debit cards issued by banks on the Visa/Mastercard network
Other online wallets like Uphold and Payoneer are not accepted either. OnlyFans does not have a gift card system, and nothing like it is planned.

If you want to subscribe, set up a Visa or Mastercard. PayPal is not an option and is unlikely to become one. If you are a creator, the same applies on your side: your subscribers pay with cards, and they expect to be able to.
